Beyond Interactive logo

Established August 1989 as simply Beyond, Yokohama, Japan-based Beyond Interactive is a video game development company that has also been involved heavily with localization. Company activity was suspended in August 1992 after founder and CEO Hitoshi Akashi was selected to help establish Electronic Arts Victor. The company was restarted in May 1996 after he left EAV.
