A Wave, Inc. (株式会社エイ・ウェーブ) was based in Tokyo and was established in August 1985. The president was Yasuho Tanaka (田中八寿穂) [1], an animator who made shorts for NHK's Minna no Uta music program. [2] A Wave was at one time an affiliate of Sega, which owned 20% of the company. [3]
