A Wave, Inc. (株式会社エイ・ウェーブ) was a development company based in Tokyo. It was established in August 1985. The president was Yasuho Tanaka (田中八寿穂) [1], an animator. [2] In addition to developing games, the company also did graphics work for clients such as Taito. At one time, it was partially owned (20%) by Sega. [3]

Evidence suggests A Wave was previously called Animation 20 Co., Ltd. [4]
