4D Interactive Systems was a company based in St. Paul, Minnesota, United States, [1] started by Dungeons & Dragons co-creator Dave Arneson [2] and/or Dan Nicholson. [3] It was incorporated on February 14, 1978. [4]

Arneson died on April 7, 2009, after a long battle with cancer. [5]
